Akash Nabh, MD received a combined bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery from Kasturba Medical College in Mangalore, India.
Upon moving to the United States, he completed his internship and residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center (affiliated hospital to Albert Einstein College of Medicine) in Bronx, New York.
Dr. Nabh has been published on topics such as Upper GI bleeding, and has contributed to online book chapters on endoscopic findings of the GI tract.
- Dr. Nabh is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
- In addition to general gastroenterology, Dr. Nabh has a special interest in pancreatobiliary diseases and advanced therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
- He also has vast expertise in hemorrhoidal banding , capsule endoscopy, esophageal manometry and pH study.
